En lägesrapport om The Dole Way

 

Klimatet är fortfarande vår tids utmaning och Dole är fast beslutna att mäta och minska vår påverkan.

Vi har slutfört en företagsomfattande koldioxidavtrycksinventering över alla tre omfattningarna och har definierat och uppdaterat vår baslinje 2020. Vi har också beräknat och lämnat in ett vetenskapligt baserat mål (SBT) för validering i linje med ett 1,5°C-scenario. Tillsammans med dessa mål har vi fokuserat på att upprätthålla och implementera regenerativa jordbruksmetoder, kontinuerligt förbättra markhälsan och mildra vår påverkan.

Vi går också vidare med andra viktiga miljöprogram. Till exempel har vi gjort framsteg inom vattenförvaltning och vattenriskanalys, ett viktigt fokusområde för många av våra grödor och produktionsregioner. Vårt aktiva medlemskap i Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) har varit särskilt värdefullt för att utöka vår kunskap och definiera vår resa.

We remain committed to the well-being of workers and aim to be an employer of choice everywhere we operate. 

We continue to improve communities around our operations and invest in them. We are delighted to report about an ambitious program in Latin America which has been several years in the making to identify the root causes of poverty and address them over time using the Business Multidimensional Poverty Index (bMPI) tool in partnership with Sophia Oxford.

Finally, it’s important to share Dole plc’s relentless effort to promote healthy nutrition to our consumers. It is the core of our mission, and we continue building partnerships to promote fresh produce consumption. We are actively preparing for the upcoming regulatory requirements and will release more data in future reports as it becomes available.
